Big News for Small Businesses
San Francisco has two new programs as part of its efforts to support small businesses during these difficult economic times.

A new Small Business Revolving Loan Fund lends up to $50,000 to companies that create and retain jobs for low-to-moderate income San Francisco residents.  Interest rates are 4% to 6% loan terms up to five years.  For more information, contact the City’s contractor for the Loan Fund, Working Solutions through TMCWorkingSolutions.org, or call 415-655-5472.

SF’s Treasurer/Tax Collector has announced a program for Reduction of Payroll Tax Prepayments for qualified businesses.  For more information visit SFGov.org/Treasurer or call 415-554-7601.

San Francisco also has a one-stop Office of Small Business in room 110 at City Hall.  Acting Director Regina Dick-Endrizzi and her staff have more information on the above programs, and many others.  They’re there to help small businesses navigate the maze of City agencies that can affect your business.  Visit SFGov.org/OSB or call 415-554-6134.
